For over 30 years, Coach Celso has been a pillar of McAllen Memorial, making an impact on the green as a golf coach and bringing games to life in the announcer’s booth. Known for his passion for coaching, keen insight on the field, and enthusiastic play-by-play at our football games, Coach Celso embodies the spirit and tradition of our great school. Whether it’s guiding his golf teams to another district title, state tournament appearance or announcing our football games, Coach Celso’s commitment to our students and our school traditions is unparalleled, making him a true role model for our community. With this recognition as Teacher of the Week we celebrate his remarkable career and invaluable contributions to Memorial High School.
